Making The Most Of Our Voices at the Sustainability Communications Lunch

Communicators need to know how to present themselves and to convince their audience about the strength and credibility of their messages.  To help our fellow communicators make the most of their presentations, Sustainability Consult invited Marie Terese Letorney, Founder/Director of Ask Your Voice™ to present at the latest Sustainability Communications Lunch on Monday.

With a background as an opera singer and voice coach, combined with a Masters in Management, Marie Terese led us through the physiology of our voices, demonstrating practical tips and showing the importance of breath and natural voice placement when speaking.

As our dynamic guest speaker explained to us throughout her presentation, “Our voice and persona are our most valuable organic tools for communications in today's diverse world, enabling us to lead, motivate or inspire others whether in negotiations, presentations or trainings”.

Marie Terese trains big business, policymakers and consultants on how to optimise their speaking voices and enhance their persona.  As she told the Lunch, “Your Voice is your identity”.

The next Sustainability Communications Lunch will take place in early May.  We'll send more information nearer the time.  Many thanks to everyone who took part so enthusiastically and to Marie Terese for sharing her expertise and having such a good time with us.
